KR IoT Solutions Engineer | Telematics

Teltonika is looking for a technically minded and customer-focused IoT Solutions Engineer to support the growth of our Telematics business in Korea and Japan. This is a hands-on role for a problem-solver who enjoys working with customers, troubleshooting technical issues, and helping implement IoT solutions in real-world business environments.

As part of Teltonika’s global Telematics Business Unit, you will work with our portfolio of GNSS and GPS tracking devices and connected-vehicle solutions. Our technologies support applications across fleet management, car sharing, vehicle rental, logistics, and other telematics use cases, helping customers improve connectivity, visibility, and operational efficiency.

In this role, you will:

• Work with various Teltonika Telematics-manufactured GNSS tracking devices.
• Propose different ways to incorporate our devices into various use cases.
• Coordinate technical tasks for custom development projects and manage solution releases to clients.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, provide assistance and consult clients through a dedicated ticketing system, online meetings and chat when needed.
• Communicate with global and Korean and Japanese corporations that provide car-sharing, rental and fleet-management solutions, as well as companies across other vehicle-telematics fields.
• Cooperate with R&D, quality assurance and project-management teams to maintain projects and ensure solutions are delivered to clients on time.
• Travel to client sites when needed and support the direct implementation of Teltonika devices into customer use cases.
• Guide colleagues and customers by preparing wiki documentation and providing training.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in telecommunications, electronics, informatics, engineering, or a related field, or previous work experience in a technical or engineering role.
• A passion for helping others, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to grow and expand your technical knowledge.
• Strong communication skills, with fluency in spoken and written Korean, Japanese and English.
• An analytical and creative mindset for problem-solving and troubleshooting.
• A valid driver’s licence for passenger vehicles in Japan.
