you will:\nDesign, develop, and maintain routing, switching and wireless solutions for networking equipment\nDesign and integrate REST API\nAnalyse new technologies and their integration possibilities\nSolve problems in network devices and their communication\nInstall firmware, reproduce issues on devices, and resolve them in the codebase\nFix and improve open-source and internal applications (C, Shell, Lua)\nFix and improve API and related documentation\nParticipate in code review and approval processes before merging changes\nCollaborate with frontend, UI/UX, and QA colleagues to deliver solutions\nTake part in regular release cycles, including feature development and bug fixing\nWhat we expect of you:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field is a strong plus.\nCore skills:\nStrong knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP, routing, switching)\nStrong knowledge in C programming\nExperience with REST API\nExperience with scripting (Bash, Shell, Python, or Lua)\nKnowledge of Linux based systems\nKnowledge of security in network and network devices\nGood written and verbal English skills\nTool familiarity:\nExperience working with version control systems (e.g., GitLab)\nExperience with JIRA or similar tools for task management\nDomain:\nExperience working with networking devices\nIdeally, you’ll also have:\nExperience developing, configuring, and maintaining networking services\nExperience of working with OpenWRT/VyOS/Yocto\nExperience in Lua or Python scripting\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing processes\nExperience in networking, telecommunications, IoT, or embedded systems
