This role can be located in Noida\nThe Opportunity\nWe are looking for an experienced PowerBuilder Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PowerBuilder, SQL, and relational databases, along with a good understanding of application development and production support processes.\nThe candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and support teams to deliver high-quality solutions, resolve application issues, and continuously improve existing applications.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, enhance, maintain, and support applications using PowerBuilder framework\n\nAnalyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\n\nDesign, develop, and modify PowerBuilder applications and components.\n\nWrite, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.\n\nWork with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle,postgresql\n\nPerform application debugging, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.\n\nParticipate in application modernization, enhancement, and migration initiatives where required.\n\nCollaborate with Business Analysts, QA, architects, and other engineering teams.\n\nPerform code reviews and ensure adherence to development and coding standards.\n\nDevelop and execute unit tests and support system/integration testing.\n\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation.\n\nParticipate in release and deployment activities.\n\nProvide L2/L3 production support and ensure timely resolution of critical incidents.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve application performance, stability, maintainability, and user experience.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field\n\nBonus Points\nExperience with PowerBuilder upgrades or migration to newer versions.\n\nExperience with PowerBuilder DataWindow and complex UI development.\n\nExposure to REST/SOAP APIs and application integrations.\n\nExperience with application modernization or migration from legacy technologies.\n\nKnowledge of .NET, Java, or other modern application technologies is a plus.\n\nExperience supporting business-critical enterprise applications.\n\nExposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices is desirable.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAt TELUS Digital, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
