You will gain deep expertise in security operations, managed detection and response (MDR), incident response, risk management, SIEM, SOAR, and AI technologies.\nIf you value collaboration, innovation, and continuous growth, this is the perfect role for you!\nWhat you’ll do\nAs part of the 24/7 Security Operations Center team, you will:\nWork within a collaborative and supportive team on a 24/7/365 rotating shift schedule\nUtilize cybersecurity skills to perform alert monitoring, triage, investigation, and escalation\nDeliver high-quality security investigations, escalations, and reports\nPerform or recommend incident response containment actions and escalate when required\nProcess all inquiries, phone calls, and service requests promptly\nAttend meetings and present security monitoring reports\nIdentify and recommend opportunities for use-case tuning\nDocument internal processes and procedures\nAnalyze complex problems and collaborate with cross-functional TELUS security teams\nAct as a subject matter expert on SOC security issues by analyzing and presenting complex investigations\nQualifications\nWhat you bring\n3 years of experience working in a SOC environment, including at least 2 years leveraging the CrowdStrike Falcon platform\nAbility to perform security investigations across multiple platforms and technologies\nDeep knowledge of the latest attack vectors and threat actor tactics\nWorking knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, Servers, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, and AI technologies\nSelf-motivation and accountability when managing technical projects\nA detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical thinking skills\nA passion for information security and a drive for continuous learning\nAbility to work with limited supervision and manage time effectively\nAvailability to work rotating shifts and participate in emergency escalation calls\nUniversity degree or college diploma in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline\nGreat-to-haves\nProfessional Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., GCIH, GCDA, Security+)\nExperience with Google SecOps, or advanced Crowdstrike modules\nFamiliarity with GCP, Azure, and AWS Cloud Platforms\nProfessional fluency in both English and French\nAbility to obtain (or currently hold) a Canadian Government Secret Security Clearance\nIntermediate knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.);
