You’ll work closely with customers to understand their most complex document workflows and build the environments, integrations, and AI-powered solutions needed to solve them.\nThis is a highly collaborative and customer-facing role that sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and commercial strategy.\nWhat You’ll Do\nEmbedded Customer Engineering\nWork on-site or virtually alongside strategic customers to build, configure, and integrate Templafy solutions directly into their document workflows.\nCustom Solution Development\nDesign and build tailored customer environments using their content, business rules, integrations, knowledge, and data to address complex document use cases and deliver solutions that meet their specific needs.\nTechnical Discovery & Architecture Mapping\nPartner with Solutions Consulting and Professional Services to understand complex customer requirements and translate them into concrete technical architectures and implementation plans.\nRapid Prototyping\nBuild proof-of-concept integrations, document agents, and workflow automations to quickly validate solution fit before moving into full implementation.\nProduct Collaboration\nWork closely with Product Managers to share insights and feedback from real-world customer use cases, helping shape the product and ensure our document agents continue to meet evolving customer needs.\nDeployment & Change Management\nSupport customer rollout, training, and adoption of custom-built solutions, ensuring a smooth transition to the customer’s internal teams and Templafy’s Customer Success organization.\nAccelerate Packaging & Repeatability\nUse insights gained from customer implementations to partner with our Pricing and Packaging team to identify common use cases and help develop repeatable solutions across industries and business functions.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nAcademic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, another technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\n\n3+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or similar technical customer-facing role, ideally within enterprise SaaS or applied AI.\n\nStrong commercial and technical discovery skills, with the ability to translate business needs and technical requirements into working solutions.\n\nAbility to identify gaps during discovery and proactively engage the appropriate customer stakeholders to gather the information needed to move forward.\n\nExperience working with REST APIs, enterprise integrations, authentication/SSO, and automation frameworks.\n\nStrong technical curiosity and interest in AI.
