If you enjoy solving ambiguous, high-leverage infrastructure problems and creating durable tools that help both customers and engineers move faster, we'd love to meet you.\nWhat You'll Do\nHigh Availability & Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) - Enabling continuous regional failover and improving platform resilience.\n\nControl Plane Automation - Automating operations to improve reliability and developer efficiency.\n\nDatabase Performance and Optimization: Our data layer is scaling beyond its current limits. We need someone who can scale it by orders of magnitude while holding the line on latency, reliability, and availability.\n\nDeployment Plane: As our deploy frequency and engineering headcount both climb, we own redesigning the path from commit to production, drawing on strong infrastructure, deployment tooling, and systems design expertise.\n\nCI/CD for Control Plane - Building reliable pipelines for safer rollouts, faster iteration, and better test coverage.\n\nTechnology Stack\nPrimary Language: Go\n\nData Storage: PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redshift, S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob Storage\n\nData Processing: Kinesis, Firehose\n\nInfrastructure: Kubernetes\n\nBilling & Revenue: Metronome, Stripe\n\nGo-to-Market Integrations: Salesforce, Segment, Pylon, Zapier, cloud marketplace APIs\n\nCustomer-Facing Standards: OpenMetrics, FOCUS\n\nCore Framework: Temporal (of course )\n\nWhat You Can Expect\nHigh-impact ownership over systems tied directly to revenue, customer lifecycle, and platform scalability\n\nCollaborative engineering culture focused on quality, pragmatism, and measurable outcomes\n\nExceptional technical colleagues and a feedback-rich environment\n\nLean processes and autonomy without unnecessary bureaucracy\n\nStrong emphasis on reliability and operational excellence-balanced with rapid iteration\n\nA team that values mentorship, thoughtful design, and steady improvements that compound over time\n\nWhat You'll Bring\nBackend engineering experience with a cloud/infrastructure focus, ideally with some ops exposure - a blend of infra and database-driven systems.\n\nExperience on a control plane team for cloud-based microservices.\n\nBackground building or operating multi-tenant SaaS applications.\n\nFamiliarity with density-oriented cloud provider architectures.\n\nStrong Postgres (or similar relational database) experience.\n\nTrack record designing for high availability, and managing compute and traffic at scale.\n\nSolid database chops, and a bias toward building rather than just configuring - you'd rather write the tool than click through one.\n\nCLI and DevOps fluency.\n\nNice to Have - Exposure to data pipelining.\n\nTemporal Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
