This includes creation of product definition, market segmentation, collection of VOC, product requirements, and market analysis\nLiaises with internal and external stakeholders to better understand customer needs, coordinate feedback with commercial teams and customers around product lifecycle and identify process improvements along the value chain\nUnderstands market drivers, trends, regulatory, and test reimbursement implications\nDevelop policies and procedures for the use and access of Ambry’s software systems and applications to ensure security and compliance with HIPAA regulations\nTravel up to 15% \nJOB SPECIFICATIONS\nEDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE:\nBachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Genomics or a related field\n6+ years of experience in healthcare IT and software development. Ideally, SaaS or cloud-native application development.\nKnowledge of development leveraging FHIR, SMART on FHIR, client and server JSON/XML, HL7\nFamiliarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH)\nTECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives\nProven problem-solving skills, and comfort in working in a dynamic environment with rapidly evolving business needs\nAbility to think creatively and develop, define, validate business cases for novel opportunities\nAbility to work independently and influence others around you\nExcellent organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making\nExperience managing software development projects and teams. Ideally with experience in Scaled Agile scrum-based development.\nExperience with phase-gated product development processes.\nExperience with SW design control best practices (SDLC).
