We aspire to be a strategic partner in realising the Singapore Government’s Smart Nation vision. We are headquartered in Singapore and have more than 400 employees across a wide range of disciplines in strategy, design, architecture, technology, data & AI.\nJob Overview: \nWe are looking for an experienced Cloud / DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team. \nIn this role, you will design, build, automate and operate secure, scalable and highly available cloud platforms for our clients. You will work closely with architects, software engineers, QA engineers, security teams and product teams to establish modern DevOps practices, automate infrastructure and application delivery, and improve the reliability and operational efficiency of cloud environments. \nThe ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, CI/CD automation and cloud operations, with a good understanding of networking, security and software engineering practices. \n\nKey Responsibilities: \nCloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering: \nDesign, implement and operate secure, scalable, highly available and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS, Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). \nDesign and manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes. \nImplement cloud-native architectures supporting microservices and modern application platforms. \nWork with solution and cloud architects to translate architecture designs into production-ready cloud environments. \nSupport multiple environments including development, testing, staging and production. \nInfrastructure as Code & Automation: \nDesign, develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform. \nAutomate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and deployment processes. \nImplement configuration management and operational automation using tools such as Ansible. \nDevelop automation scripts and tooling using Bash, Python and/or Go. \nPromote reusable infrastructure modules, automation standards and engineering best practices across projects. \nCI/CD & DevOps: \nDesign, implement and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or equivalent platforms. \nAutomate application build, testing, security scanning and deployment processes. \nIntegrate automated testing tools such as Cypress, Pact.js or equivalent frameworks into CI/CD pipelines. \nImplement appropriate branching, release and deployment strategies. \nWork with development teams to continuously improve developer experience and software delivery efficiency. \nNetworking & Security: \nConfigure and manage cloud networking components, including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, security groups and private connectivity. \nImplement secure ingress and traffic management using technologies such as NGINX or cloud-native load balancers. \nImplement and manage service-to-service communication using service mesh technologies such as Istio, where applicable. \nApply cloud security best practices including identity and access management, secrets management, encryption, network security and least-privilege access. \nSupport security hardening, vulnerability remediation and compliance requirements. \nMonitoring, Logging & Reliability: \nImplement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting and observability solutions using tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk and/or equivalent platforms. \nMonitor application and infrastructure health, availability and performance. \nProactively identify and resolve infrastructure and platform issues. \nSupport troubleshooting, incident resolution and root cause analysis. \nContinuously improve platform reliability, availability and operational resilience. \nPerformance & Cost Optimisation: \nAnalyse infrastructure utilisation and performance metrics to identify optimisation opportunities. \nImplement cloud resource optimisation and cost-management strategies without compromising security, reliability or performance. \nSupport capacity planning, scaling and performance tuning. \nCollaboration & Engineering Excellence: \nCollaborate closely with architects, developers, QA engineers, security teams and client stakeholders. \nProvide technical guidance and support to development teams on cloud and DevOps practices. \nContribute to technical documentation, architecture decisions, operational procedures and engineering standards. \nPromote automation, standardisation, reusability and continuous improvement across the engineering lifecycle. \nJob Qualifications: \nMinimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or a similar role. \nProven experience with AWS / Azure / GCP services and networking components. \nStrong expertise in containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. \nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. \nGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical teams and client stakeholders. \nProficiency in setting up CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or equivalent tools. \nHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform. \nExperience with logging and monitoring tools, specifically Splunk. \nScripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go for automation tasks. \nUnderstanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. \nCertifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar. \nKnowledge of Redis, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch. \nExperience with QA tools integration, including Cypress and Pact.js. \nBeyond technical expertise, we are looking for someone who: \nEnjoys solving complex infrastructure and engineering problems. \nHas a strong automation mindset and prefers to automate rather than perform repetitive manual tasks. \nUnderstands that security, reliability and operational excellence are integral parts of engineering. \nIs comfortable working across infrastructure, application and security domains. \nCan work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams. \nIs willing to continuously learn and adopt new cloud-native technologies and engineering practices. \nTemus is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all. We do not discriminate by race, religion, belief, ethnicity, origin, disability, age, partnership status, sexual orientation, or gender identity.\nWe see the diversity of our team as a strategic advantage, and we work actively to maintain it.\nBy applying for this role, you have read and acknowledge the data privacy statement via this link - temus.com/job-applicant-data-protection/","description_format":"text","description_chars":6875,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Government"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-22T05:13:46Z"}],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":10,"expected_fill_days":232,"reasons":["conf:7","velocity","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-10-02T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/temus-cloud-devops-engineer-2","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/temus-cloud-devops-engineer-2.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-03T01:20:33Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1281,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":3719,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-04T00:00:00Z"}}}
