We deliver results that exceed expectations and we win together!\nYour Role:\nAt Tenable, our Identity Exposure team helps security teams cut through noise by connecting identity context to vulnerabilities, so they can prioritize what actually matters and act with confidence.\nAs a Staff Engineer on this team, you'll shape our platform's future by driving technical discussions and owning the delivery of end-to-end features. You understand the architectural stakes behind your decisions, and raise the engineering bar across the team and beyond it.\nWhat You'll Do:\nDesign, build, and maintain robust features spanning UI, API, and data layers.\nOwn delivery end to end, from product discussion to production health.\nHelp the team grow. share context, give and receive feedback openly, make the people around you sharper engineers over time.\nWork cross-functionally across products, teams, geographies, and disciplines; you move across the stack and across domains, no problem is outside your reach.\nContribute freely across repos you don't own - no territorial instincts, just open the PR and get it merged.\nDrive architectural discussions and advocate for scalable, maintainable and cost-conscious designs; you spot friction early, flag risks before they escalate, and move.\nContribute hands-on to AI-driven features and data-intensive product capabilities.\nWhat You'll Need:\nProduct-first mindset.\nExcellent English.\nStrong communication and ability to drive change efficiently across teams.\nPragmatic mind, balancing craftsmanship with delivery, you ship and take pride in it.\nFullstack engineering capabilities with a strong backend foundation.\nSolid object-oriented programming skills.\nExperience working with high-volume data systems.\nFamiliarity with AI/ML practices.\nComfortable operating in complex, large-scale processes.\nNice to Have: AWS · DynamoDB · Snowflake · ClickHouse · Kotlin · Python · Dotnet\nThis is the expected salary range for this position in the primary job location, depending on experience and qualifications. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
