Accounting Analyst responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling statements. You will run accounting software programs to process business transactions. A successful Accounting Analyst should be familiar with all accounting procedures and have a flair for numbers. Ultimately, a successful Accounting Analyst will perform accurate cost accounting and inventory valuation.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide accounting and analytical support to the accounting department\nProvides reporting for profitability and cost analysis.\nProvides support to budget preparation and performance measurement.\nAdministers the catalog of cost centers.\nType accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records\nPrepare orders, general ledger postings and statements\nReconcile accounts in a timely manner\nDaily enter key data of financial transactions in database\nInform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas\nFunction in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws\nObserves core processes through on-the-job training, project assignments, and training activities\nAnalyzes information and prepares different deliverables as reports and processes. Gains deep knowledge of the processes he/she is exposed to.\nDevelops specific projects within the Accounting department.\nDevelops and manages a set of Key Performance Indicators to monitor and measure the area’s results.\nMaintains regular contact with other areas of the company, and interacts with different hierarchical.\nQualifications:\n1-5 years relevant experience\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business \nMaster's degree or relevant certification is an asset\nFamiliarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures\nCompetency in MS Office (Excel, Access and Power BI)\nExperience using SAP (modules FI/CO) is a plus\nHands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports\nAccuracy and attention to detail.
