Candidates may be located in any one of our hub locations.\nResponsibilities\nOwn data sourcing, cleaning, and quality assurance, and set the validation standards the team uses for all analytic outputs.\n\nDesign, build, and maintain reporting, dashboard, and benchmarking tools, and set visualization standards for customer-facing work.\n\nPresent findings and recommendations to customer and internal leadership, supporting pre-sales, sales, renewals, and ongoing customer engagement.\n\nPartner with Data Scientists and Process Improvement Consultants on methodology, project scoping, and delivery.\n\nMentor analysts, review their work for accuracy and quality, and help build repeatable analytic processes for the team.\n\nRequirements\nEducation (one of the following):\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Health Sciences\n\nMaster’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, or a related quantitative field\n\nEquivalent work experience with a portfolio of relevant analytic projects\n\nExperience:\n7+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics, with a focus on hospital quality measurement, clinical outcomes, or performance improvement\n\nHands-on experience with one or more national quality rankings or ratings programs, such as CMS Star Ratings, USNWR Best Hospitals, Leapfrog, Vizient Quality & Accountability, or CMS value-based programs (HRRP, HAC, VBP)\n\nExperience working with Medicare claims (MedPAR, Standard Analytic Files) and CMS public reporting data (e.g., Care Compare, Provider Data Catalog)\n\nDemonstrated experience leading analytic projects end to end, from scoping through delivery\n\nExperience presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership or customer executives\n\nCore Competencies:\nAdvanced SQL and proficiency in Python or R for data analysis\n\nExpertise in business intelligence and data visualization tools, with the ability to set dashboard and reporting standards\n\nStrong command of statistical methods, benchmarking, and performance measurement\n\nAbility to translate ambiguous business and customer questions into clear analytic plans\n\nAbility to communicate complex findings clearly to executive and non-technical audiences\n\nExperience mentoring analysts and reviewing their work for quality and accuracy\n\nNice to Have\nExperience in a customer-facing, consulting, or pre-sales analytics role\n\nSix Sigma or Lean certification\n\nExperience with Tableau, Looker Studio, Plotly/Dash, or similar visualization platforms\n\nExperience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)\n\nFamiliarity with Jupyter Notebook and collaborative analytics workflows\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides\n\nExperience with Smartsheet or similar project management tools\n\nTableau/Google Data Studio/Plotly/Dash.\n\nPycharm, VSCode, Sublime Text, Atom, etc.\n\nAWS/GCP/Azure, etc.\n\nBase Salary Range\n $110,500 - $149,500\nThis salary range is offered with the understanding that final compensation is based on a number of factors including geography and experience.
