The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Provide second-level technical support for enterprise security solutions and resolve complex issues escalated from L1 support.\n\n Perform system diagnostics, log analysis, health checks, and root-cause analysis.\n\n Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade cybersecurity solutions.\n\n Support security technologies, including SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, IAM/PAM, WAF, DAM, vulnerability management, and network security solutions.\n\n Monitor security platform performance, availability, and operational health.\n\n Manage technical escalations with OEMs and vendors, ensuring timely resolution within agreed SLAs.\n\n Support solution deployments, testing, Proof of Concept PoC and Proof of Value PoV activities, and customer demonstrations.\n\n Prepare technical documentation, incident reports, troubleshooting guides, and root-cause analysis reports.\n\n Collaborate with L1 and L3 engineers, project teams, service delivery teams, and customers.\n\n Participate in technical meetings, knowledge-transfer sessions, planned maintenance, and on-call support when required.\n\nRequirements and Qualifications\n\n Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.\n\n 3–5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or enterprise security technical support.\n\n Demonstrable experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise security solutions.\n\n Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and network traffic analysis.\n\n Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.\n\n Experience analysing security logs, investigating incidents, and resolving technical issues.\n\n Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.\n\n Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively within a technical team.\n\nPreferred Technical Skills\n\nExperience with one or more of the following will be an advantage:\n\n Security Information and Event Management SIEM\n\n Endpoint Detection and Response EDR/XDR\n\n Data Loss Prevention DLP\n\n Identity and Access Management IAM / Privileged Access Management PAM\n\n Web Application Firewall WAF and Database Activity Monitoring DAM\n\n Network Detection and Response NDR\n\n Vulnerability and cloud security management\n\n Security orchestration and automation\n\nPreferred Certifications\n\nRelevant certifications will be an added advantage, including:\n\n CompTIA Security+ or CySA+\n\n Certified SOC Analyst CSA or Certified Ethical Hacker CEH\n\n Microsoft Security certifications\n\n Fortinet NSE/FCP Security certifications\n\n Palo Alto Networks certifications\n\n Cisco CyberOps Associate\n\n Vendor-specific certifications in enterprise security technologies\n\nKey Competencies\n\n Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis\n\n Customer-focused service delivery\n\n Effective communication and technical documentation\n\n Incident ownership and timely escalation\n\n Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure\n\n Commitment to continuous learning and technical
