Documenting of the process for supplier audits.\nApprove supplier invoices and manage payment requests to suppliers, cooperating with the finance department.\nInterface with customs brokers to release import shipments and oversee the collection of imports.\nOpen import files in the system.\nSchedule and coordinate collection from local suppliers and handle payments when necessary.\nMonitor market prices of items and update relevant parties.\nManage negotiation processes with suppliers and global subcontractors.\nHandle quality complaints with suppliers and internal departments (quality control, production, etc.).\nManage and maintain purchase data and price lists (supplier data, lead time, MOQ, items, item classification according to procurement policies).\nSourcing for new suppliers both locally and internationally.\nWork in collaboration with various departments (finance, engineering, quality, warehouse).\nPrepare and analyze procurement reports and data.\nLead efficiency improvement processes and negotiations with suppliers.\nWork with contracts.\nKnowledge of import/export laws and customs regulations.\nWork with price lists and budgets.\nResponsibilities\nTrack open orders and requirements.\nNegotiate and work to improve processes, reduce costs, and maximize contract terms with a variety of suppliers.\nMonitor shipments until they are received in the warehouse.\nProcess supplier invoices and payments.\nResponsible for local and international suppliers.\nInterface with customs brokers for the import of goods from suppliers.\nConduct supplier evaluations to ensure high standards are met.\nRegular interaction with various departments within and outside the organization, both locally and globally.\nRequirements\nA relevant degree - required.\nAt least two years of experience in a purchasing role in a manufacturing company - required.\nProficiency in Office applications - required.
