Administers and monitors Benefits, Compensation, and Service Excellence programs for the employees of the medical center. Performs reporting with HRIS system. Makes recommendations for changes in programs and evaluates the effectiveness of programs in place. Assists CHRO with employee and labor relations issues.\n 1. Manages HR Office and Process in the absence of the CHRO.\n2. Coordinates non-clinical Service Excellence programs.\n3. Administers compensation programs and recommends modifications.\n4. Administers and processes the performance review program, including the 90 day and annualreview \nmaterials and the initial and annual competencies.\n5. Manages all document related processes, including: the job description program; HR Files; HR and \nService Forms and makes modifications as needed.\n6. Administers the job description program and makes modifications as needed.\n7. Coordinates the local Benefit processes and works with Corporate and Hewitt on benefit rollouts. \nThis includes Wellness program.\n8. Assists in investigations of employee and labor relations issues utilizing a high level of discretionand \ntact.\n9. Assures compliance with JCAHO requirements on an on-going basis.\n10. Advises managers and supervisors of various state & federal regulations and effective HRpractice \nregarding employee issues.\n11. Coordinates and participates in the orientation of new employees.\n12. Retrieves information and demonstrates a high level of competency using HRIS systems, word \nprocessing, calendaring, and spreadsheet software.\n13. Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports using HRIS system.\n14. Responsible for coordinating open enrollment in accordance with all legal requirement\n15. Has a fundamental understanding of California and Federal employment and labor laws.\n16. Has a clear understanding of medical center policies and procedures, as related to thehuman \nresources function.\n17. Serves as a point of contact for human resources-related questions from the medical center's staff.\n18. Tracks and prepares reports, as related to performance evaluations.\n19. Performs a variety of special projects, as assigned.\n20. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, staff \nmeetings, workshops and successful completion of required certifications of specialty areas.\n21. Demonstrates initiative in adjusting to priority assignments, identifying needs, managing timeand \nfollowing through with appropriate response.\n22. Accomplishes duties within established medical center guidelines, policies and rules.\n23. Promotes effective teamwork and a positive work environment through cooperation, consistency,and \na willingness to assume added responsibilities as needed.\n24. Performs duties in an honest and ethical manner with sensitivity to the concerns of those affectedby \nthe decisions made.\n25. Treats all people with respect and responds to requests for information in a timely manner.\n26. Completes .edu’s and other required hospital education by the due date.\n27. Adheres to SRRMC Behavior Standards.\n28. Complies with San Ramon Regional Medical Center Policies/Procedures protecting patient \ninformation and the confidentiality of the information in accordance with the Federal and State \nregulations.\n29.
