You’ll work alongside our Accounting and Finance teams on projects related to accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close while building a practical understanding of how an accounting function operates.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAssist with basic data entry and upkeep of accounting records\n\nSupport the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams with administrative tasks\n\nHelp prepare draft journal entries and assist with account reconciliations under supervision\n\nSupport month-end and year-end close activities as assigned\n\nOrganize and maintain financial documents and electronic files\n\nAssist with audit preparation and internal reporting requests\n\nPerform simple financial analysis or ad hoc projects as needed\n\nFollow company policies, accounting standards, and confidentiality requirements\n\nWho You Are\nRequired Qualifications\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field\n\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills\n\nBasic understanding of accounting principles\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and formulas a plus)\n\nAbility to handle sensitive information with discretion\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\n\nEagerness to learn and ability to work both independently and as part of a team\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious internship or coursework in accounting or finance\n\nExperience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite or similar)\n\nWhat We Offer\nPaid internship experience\n\nFounder and leadership speaker sessions\n\nDedicated mentorship and cross-functional networking\n\nIndustry and market education sessions\n\nCareer development workshops (resume review, mock interviews, interview prep)\n\nTeam-building events and intern socials\n\nLunch & Learns with company leaders\n\nIn-office perks including snacks and beverages\n\nInternship Information\nPaid Internship\n\nMay - August (12 weeks)\n\nTuesday - Friday, 8 hours\n\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nTensorWave is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
