In this role, you’ll be responsible for the physical supply chain for hardware shipments, including server racks, GPUs, network gear, and critical power components. You will oversee international freight, complex customs clearances, domestic FTL/LTL transport, and manage logistical partner network to ensure on-time delivery for data center site buildouts and operations.\nWhat You’ll Do\nEnd-to-End Freight & Logistics Execution\nOversee international and domestic logistics operations for high-value server racks, GPUs, network switches, and data center gear.\n\nPartner with specialized carriers and 3PL providers to execute secure and shock-monitored transport.\n\nTrack shipments in real time, proactively identifying delays, port congestions, or customs holds to mitigate impacts on data center build schedules.\n\nManage reverse logistics, RMA flows, and warranty transport for enterprise hardware.\n\nTrade Compliance & Customs Management\nEnsure 100% compliance with international trade regulations, import/export controls, dual-use technology classifications (ECCN), and customs laws.\n\nAct as the primary liaison with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory authorities.\n\nManage duty, tariff, and tax strategies to optimize trade execution and avoid clearance delays.\n\nData Center Site Operations\nCoordinate dock-to-rack delivery schedules directly with site operations managers and data center build teams.\n\nEstablish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for shipping, tracking, chain-of-custody handoffs, asset tagging, and high-value security protocols.\n\nManage inter-company transfers by working closely with Inventory Program Manager\n\nVendor & Contract Management\nRequest, evaluate, and negotiate RFPs for global freight forwarders, air cargo charters, specialized ground transport, and 3PL partners.\n\nEstablish key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for logistics partners; conduct regular performance reviews.\n\nAudit freight invoices, customs duties, and accessorial fees for cost accuracy and budget optimization.\n\nWho You Are\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management, Business Management, or a related field.
