In this role, you will help design, implement, operate, and improve TensorWave’s corporate network infrastructure, with an initial focus on the modernization of our network.\nThis role is intended for an experienced hands-on network engineer with a strong foundation in Cisco enterprise networking. You will own defined networking workstreams, troubleshoot complex network issues, maintain network infrastructure, and work closely with internal teams and technology partners.\nYou will also serve as a technical resource to the Corporate IT team by sharing networking knowledge, reviewing configurations, assisting with troubleshooting, and helping develop networking capabilities across the team.\nWhat You’ll Do\nImplement, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and network security infrastructure.\n\nOwn defined networking workstreams within Corporate IT infrastructure initiatives.\n\nConfigure and support Cisco switching, routing, wireless, and related networking technologies.\n\nSupport redundant Internet connectivity, high-availability network designs, WAN failover, and SD-WAN technologies.\n\nConfigure and maintain VLANs, routing, spanning tree, link aggregation, access controls, network segmentation, and related Layer 2/Layer 3 technologies.\n\nSupport enterprise authentication technologies including 802.1X, RADIUS, certificate-based authentication, and network access controls.\n\nWork with firewall and security teams to implement network segmentation, access policies, VPN connectivity, and security controls.\n\nMonitor network availability, performance, capacity, and reliability and proactively identify potential issues.\n\nTroubleshoot complex connectivity and performance issues using network diagnostic and packet-analysis tools.\n\nMaintain accurate network diagrams, configuration documentation, IP addressing information, connection schedules, standards, and operating procedures.\n\nParticipate in network changes, upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and incident response.\n\nWork with telecommunications carriers, technology vendors, managed service providers, and other external partners as needed.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve network reliability, scalability, security, monitoring, and operational efficiency.\n\nShare technical knowledge and networking best practices with Corporate IT team members and provide peer mentoring and technical guidance.\n\nSupport the development of repeatable network standards that can be applied across TensorWave corporate locations.\n\nLeadership & Collaboration\nLead, mentor, and collaborate with team members to achieve shared and visibility\n\nMaintain compliance with company policies and applicable laws or regulations\n\nWho You Are\nRequired Qualifications\n[X]+ years of relevant experience in [field/function]\n\n3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.\n\nStrong practical experience with Cisco switching and routing technologies.\n\nSolid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, routing, STP/RSTP, LACP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPNs, and common network protocols.\n\nExperience troubleshooting complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.\n\nExperience supporting enterprise wireless networks.\n\nExperience with network segmentation, access controls, and security fundamentals.\n\nExperience working with redundant WAN connectivity and high-availability network environments.\n\nAbility to independently own technical deliverables and troubleshoot issues through resolution.\n\nStrong documentation and communication skills.\n\nAbility to work collaboratively with IT, Security, Infrastructure, vendors, and other technical teams.\n\nWillingness to share knowledge and help develop the technical capabilities of other team members.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nCisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or equivalent demonstrated knowledge.\n\nExperience with Cisco Meraki networking technologies.\n\nExperience with Cisco Secure Firewall/Firepower.\n\nExperience implementing or supporting 802.1X and RADIUS-based network authentication.\n\nExperience with certificate-based device authentication or PKI.\n\nExperience supporting multi-site corporate network environments.\n\nExperience with network monitoring, centralized logging, or SIEM integration.\n\nExperience working in
