This position will assign tasks to junior engineers and technicians to achieve the designs. In this position, you will work on the project from kickoff to customer handover and will be supported by the design, development, and commissioning teams.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead and/or self-perform the execution of engineering activities. \nReview customer-provided project documentation and define the project’s SCADA Design Requirements for the project. \nWork alongside project managers to provide technical oversight of the project end-to-end, managing internal and external resources to meet the project milestones and deliverables. \nSupport the review of engineering services proposals. \nEngage with Developers, Owner’s Representatives, Utilities, EPCs, Vendors, internal Products, Project, Design, and Commissioning personnel \nContributes to the design of monitoring and control systems for utility scale renewable energy projects. \nWork with internal and external design partners: \nArchitecting and developing detailed design documentation including System Architecture Diagrams, Device Points List, IP lists, Logic Diagrams, HMI mockups. \nGenerate project documentation at the different stages of the project, including design, development and commissioning-related documentation. \nProvide leadership, training, and mentoring to less experienced engineers and team members. \nSupport the creation and enhancement of our internal knowledge base and documentation. \nSupport Factory Acceptance Testing of SCADA system and related components. \nSupport Commissioning and System Acceptance Testing of SCADA system and related components. \nRequirements\nRequirements: \nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or related field \nAbility to effectively communicate with team members and business partners \n3+ years of SCADA development, specifically for solar (PV) and Battery (BESS) installations. Ignition experience is a plus \nWorking knowledge of programming language \nExperience with communications architectural design \nWorking knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, DNP3, OPC-UA, IEC 61850, ICCP, etc. \nWorking knowledge of communications and network design principles \nExperience working on multiple projects simultaneously. \nParticipated in or led continued improvement/lessons learn ed programs \nExperience dealing with customers \nTravel up to 15% occasionally. \nBenefits\nCompensation And Benefits\nOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
