The Cabling and Infrastructure Supervisor is responsible for the management of all client Smart Hand requirements.\nOBJECTIVES\n1. MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB\nData Centre Management\nManage working methods to ensure all SLA and MSA’s are achieved\nManagement of data centre infrastructure to provide a concurrently maintainable, cost effective system supporting 99.999% electrical uptime and 99.99% mechanical uptime\nCompliance\nMaintain compliance in accordance to all relative policies and procedures\nSupport the HR department in achieving the organization developmental plan deliverables within agreed timelines\nMeet agreed inter-departmental OLA (Operational Level Agreement)\nH&S monitoring and corrective action to meet statutory compliance, SLAs and good business practice\nImplement company and departmental policies, processes and work instructions as per the agreed quality and timeline/ RFS\nCritical System Management\nEnsure applicable planned and corrective maintenance is managed in accordance to ensure customer MSA’s and SLA’s are achieved\nConduct working methods to maintain agreed PUE levels\nTask finalisation and report accurately, as per agreed format, quality and within the agreed timelines\nData Centre Ethics\nEnsure compliance is maintained incorporating industry best practices\nEnsure data centre facilities standards are enforced and maintained\nEnsure data centre cleaning standards are enforced and maintained\nRequirements\nSKILLS REQUIREMENT\nGood technical abilities\nEffective communication skills, active listener - ability to understand requirements\nProactive problem solver, perform rapid and accurate assessments\nAbility to work independently, as well as being a positive team player\nSelf-motivated\nConducts self professionally, exhibits elevated levels of tolerance and patience\nResponsible for continued learning and self-development\nQuick response to potentially critical situations\nTrouble shoot systems and components to identify root causes of failures\nImplement corrective actions promptly to mitigate the negative effects of system changes Good Microsoft Office skills\n3.
