PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Training and Development Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, administering, and monitoring all learning and development activities across the organisation. The role supports operational, health and safety, cyber security, compliance, leadership, and role-based training initiatives by identifying training requirements, coordinating learning interventions, managing learning platforms, tracking completion, and reporting on compliance.
The incumbent will ensure employees have access to the required learning programmes, maintain accurate training records, monitor training effectiveness, and support the organisation in meeting legislative, regulatory, operational, and business competency requirements.
OBJECTIVES
1. MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Coordinate, and monitor role-based, mandatory, operational, health and safety, cyber security, and management training programmes.
- Administer and manage training campaigns through the KnowBe4 Learning Platform.
- Load training programmes, assign learners, track completion, and follow up on overdue training.
- Maintain accurate training records, matrices, certifications, and learning histories.
- Produce regular compliance, participation, and completion reports for management.
- Coordinate training providers, schedules, training logistics, and learner communication.
- Support annual training needs analysis and development of training plans.
- Assist with onboarding, induction, leadership development, and skills development initiatives.
- Monitor training effectiveness and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring training documentation is current and compliant.

3. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Human Resource Development, Learning & Development, Education, or a related field.
- 3-5 years' experience in a Learning and Development, Training Administration, or Training Coordination role.
- Experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) and/or KnowBe4.
- Strong reporting, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
