In this role, you will:\nBe highly hands-on and drive the design, architecture, development, evolution, delivery and adoption of one or more AI products.\nLead and develop high performing engineering teams including Staff and Senior Engineers.\nShape the product vision, technology roadmap, and engineering strategy for AI products.\nBe deeply involved in technical decision making, providing guidance across coding, architecture, modelling, system design, and operational excellence.\nCollaborate with cross-functional partners across Product, Cloud, Architecture, and Customer teams to deliver high impact, end-to-end capabilities.\nChampion best practices across the software development lifecycle, including code quality, documentation, testing, CI/CD, observability, and production excellence.\nEstablish data-driven processes and feedback loops to continuously improve product quality, performance, and engineering efficiency.\nBuild and sustain a culture of ownership, innovation, high accountability, and technical excellence across your teams.\nStay current with emerging technologies, AI/ML advancements, and industry best practices to ensure long-term product and organizational success.\n\nWho You'll Work With\nYou will work closely with engineering teams, product leaders, AI/ML experts, cloud architects, and customer facing teams across Teradata. This role reports to a senior technology leader and plays a critical part in defining Teradata's future in AI driven enterprise solutions.\n\nWhat Makes You a Qualified Candidate\n(Nonnegotiable qualifications)\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized institution.\n11+ years of experience in large scale product development, distributed systems, or AI/ML, managing teams and senior engineering talent.\nStrong problem solving skills, familiarity with AI/ML technologies, including LLMs and agentic AI systems.\nExpertise in microservices development, RESTful APIs, cloud technologies, SDLC, CI/CD, observability and production operations.\nExperience building high quality products in fast-paced technology environments.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n(Preferred qualifications)\nProficiency with data stores (SQL/NoSQL), data modelling, and messaging systems such as Kafka.\nHands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and modern deployment practices.\nFamiliarity with AI productivity tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot, and UI technologies.\nStrong ability to navigate ambiguity, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and drive alignment across teams.\nDemonstrated ability to mentor senior engineers, foster healthy team dynamics, and build scalable engineering organizations.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to varied audiences.\nA growth mindset and ability to thrive in dynamic, fast evolving environments while continuously raising the
