Engineer in the Platform Services team within the Vantage Core Platform Software organization.\nThe team builds cloud platform services powering provisioning and lifecycle management of Teradata compute infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.\nKey focus areas include:\nCloud native provisioning and lifecycle automation for distributed compute environments\nPlatform services for orchestration, scaling, and configuration management across public cloud platforms\nServerless and event driven automation frameworks for infrastructure workflows\nSecure and reliable connectivity enablement for cloud deployed compute systems\n\nResponsibilities\nDesign and develop cloud native platform services for distributed infrastructure systems\nDesign platform capabilities supporting large scale infrastructure provisioning\nBuild scalable orchestration workflows using serverless technologies\nDevelop automation for provisioning, scaling, upgrades, and teardown workflows\nImplement reliable and fault tolerant provisioning pipelines\nBuild REST APIs supporting platform orchestration workflows\nCollaborate with networking and infrastructure teams\nTroubleshoot provisioning and lifecycle failures\n\nQualifications\nStrong experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud\nStrong programming experience in Python or similar languages\nExperience designing infrastructure automation using cloud APIs or IaC tools\nExperience building serverless or event driven systems\nStrong understanding of IAM, networking, multi region deployments, and cloud APIs\nExperience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions\nStrong troubleshooting and problem solving skills\n\nNice to Have\nExperience working across multiple cloud platforms\nExperience building internal platform services used by multiple teams\nExperience working with Kubernetes or distributed infrastructure systems\n\nMinimum Education\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 6+ years experience\nAdvanced degree with 4+ years
