in the Platform Services team within the Vantage Core Platform Software organization.\nThe team builds core cloud platform services powering provisioning and lifecycle management of Teradata compute infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.\nKey focus areas include:\nCloud native provisioning and lifecycle automation for distributed compute environments\nPlatform services for orchestration, scaling, and configuration management across public cloud platforms\nServerless and event driven automation frameworks for infrastructure workflows\nSecure and reliable connectivity enablement for cloud deployed compute systems\nResponsibilities\nLead design and architecture of core cloud platform services\nDesign scalable platform capabilities supporting large scale provisioning\nDefine architecture patterns and engineering standards used by multiple teams\nBuild orchestration workflows using serverless and event driven services\nDevelop automation for provisioning, scaling, upgrades, and teardown workflows\nImplement reliable provisioning pipelines and platform services\nProvide architectural guidance across engineering teams\nDrive engineering best practices for reliability and scalability\nQualifications\nStrong programming expertise in Python or Go.\nExperience designing and building large scale cloud native platforms on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.\nExperience designing distributed systems and cloud services like container orchestration and serverless functions.\nStrong understanding of cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM), networking, and multi-region architecture.\nExperience designing infrastructure automation using cloud provider APIs/SDKs (such as AWS SDK, Azure SDK, or Google Cloud SDK) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.\nExperience designing and building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.\nNice to Have\nExperience working across multiple cloud platforms\nExperience building internal developer platforms\nExperience with Kubernetes or container orchestration systems\nExperience designing highly scalable distributed systems\nMinimum Education\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 8+ years experience\nAdvanced degree with 6+ years
