You will partner closely with hardware engineers and managers, product managers, and engineering leaders to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions used in advanced semiconductor test systems.\nYou will guide technical direction, support the professional growth of team members, drive engineering execution, and foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture. This is an opportunity for an experienced embedded software engineer or manager who is passionate about developing people, processes, and tools and is interested in growing as a leader.\nLead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers and contractors, fostering collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and technical excellence.\n\nGuidesoftware development activities for Linux-based embedded systems implemented primarily in C and C++.\n\nCommunicate project status, risks, dependencies, and technical challenges clearly to stakeholders and leadership.\n\nDrive Agile development practices, including epic planning, sprint execution, release planning, and continuous improvement.\n\nImprove software quality and team productivity through modern software development practices and AI-assisted engineering tools.\n\nAll About You\nWe seek individuals who share our passion and determination. If you're ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position.\nStrong communicationskills with the ability to explain complex technical issues, project status, and risks clearly to team members and stakeholders.\n\nDemonstrated technical leadership through mentoring, project leadership, architectureownership, or leading cross-functional initiatives.\n\nExperience implementing Agile software development practices, including story planning, estimation, bug tracking, release planning, and sprint retrospectives.\n\nProficiencyin C and C++ software development for embedded applications.\n\nAvailability to work from our North Reading, Massachusetts officea minimum of three days per week.\n\nExperience applying AI-assisted tools to software engineering workflows.\n\nExperience with scripting languages such as Python for automation.\n\nExperience managing embedded software engineers.\n\nCompensation\nThe base salary range for this role is $180,100 - $288,200. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set.
