We believe that our differences make us a stronger team, enabling us to make better decisions, drive innovation, and achieve superior business results.\nOrganization & Role\nTeradyne Solution Engineering Group is looking for Field Application Engineer who will be responsible to provide application support, training customers and provide technical support on Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) platforms, such as wafer and package test.\nOpportunity Overview\nResponsibilities\nWork with the customers to develop test solutions, test programs for customers’ products or IP on Teradyne ATE platforms.\nProvides technical expertise and value to the customers.\nReview the application of circuit and channels on load board, probe card for the customers’ demand and solution.\nWork with customers to improve test programs and optimize test time.\nPerform test correlation and data analysis, support release for production.\nResponsibly illustrate to the customer inquiries concerning system software and applications.\nProvides software/hardware development and consultation to the customer.\nDevelop test solution based on customer’s specific requirement.\nProvides technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations.\nCollaborate with internal departments to work out the required solutions.\nCollect information and feedback to engineering to resolve a hardware or software problem.\nConduct training courses for the customers.\nAll About You\nWe seek individuals who share our passion and determination. If you’re ready to join us on this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position.\nBS or MS in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Micro-electronics, Computer Science, Computer engineering, Electro-Optical Engineering or related fields.\n5+ years of relevant experience in Automatic Test Equipment (ATE)\nExperience of test program development for semiconductor testing on ATE platforms.\n2+ years of UF or UFP DIB / Probe card hardware design experience. (Schematic, layout or HW project PM)\nKnowledge of high-speed digital or high frequency RF for ATE DIB design.\n3+ years experience in DIB or probe card vendor in design or PM or application role is welcome.\nExperience and Knowledge of Teradyne ATE platforms, such as UltraFLEX+, UltraFLEX, J750, or other semiconductor ATE platforms.\nProficient in VBA, VB, C, C++, C# or Python, and have experience in application tool development is plus.\nStrong analytical skills are required.
