We believe that our differences enable us to be a better team - one that makes better decisions, drives innovation and delivers better business results.\nOpportunity Overview\nThe Teradyne Field Applications team is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and driven Field Application Engineer who will work collaboratively with team members and independently to develop imaginative, practical, and comprehensive application solutions for semiconductor testing.\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelop, debug, and deploy test solutions for HPC, analog and mixed-signal semiconductor devices.\nCreate and maintain test program software in a collaborative engineering environment.\nReview load board and probe card schematics and layouts for complete test solutions.\nAnalyze technical problems and recommend solutions on Teradyne ATE platforms to optimize customer throughput.\nPartner with customer test engineering teams to understand and improve test processes.\nRecommend improvements to test coverage and product quality.\nSupport production release of test solutions, including handler and prober integration, correlation studies, and Gauge R&R activities.\nGather customer requirements and support conceptual hardware, software, and test cell integration designs.\nProvide PCB and interface hardware design inputs and requirements.\nDevelop new techniques and methodologies for device characterization and production testing.\nDemonstrate tester capabilities during customer evaluations.\nTrain and support customers on tester operation and system capabilities.\nDeliver technical presentations, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.\nBuild strong customer relationships to understand future technical requirements and business needs.\nMaintain awareness of ATE industry trends, competitive products, and market positioning.\nSupport project planning, risk assessment, scheduling, and technical leadership activities.\nAll About You\nWe seek individuals who share our passion and determination. If you’re ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position.\nBachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\n10+ years of semiconductor test industry experience with hands-on IC test development expertise.\nExperience in analog, digital, mixed-signal, or RF test development on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms.\nStrong understanding of semiconductor test methodologies and production deployment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Teradyne UltraFlex or UltraFlexPlus platforms.\nProgramming experience in Visual Basic, C, C++, or C#.\nStrong Windows and Microsoft Excel proficiency.\nExperience with handler and prober interfaces.\nStrong analytical and practical problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English and local language as applicable.\nDemonstrated ability to develop strong customer relationships.\nProven technical track record delivering high-quality test solutions.\nAbility to work independently and effectively within global teams.\nPrior leadership or supervisory experience is advantageous and may qualify the successful candidate for a more senior position.\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% or more.\n\nWe are unable to provide relocation assistance for this position\nCompensation:\nThe base salary range for this role is $155,000 to 248,100. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set.
