Opportunity Overview Teradyne is looking for a talented and experienced Hardware/Control system engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the analysis and modeling of dynamic systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop electronic circuits and their test strategies.\nDesign and develop control algorithms for electronic systems.\nPerform system analyses and model dynamic behaviors to optimize performance.\nCreate and test prototypes to validate the concepts.\nProgram microcontrollers and FPGAs to implement control algorithms.\nUse simulation tools and carry out laboratory tests to evaluate system performance.\nWrite technical reports and design documents to ensure traceability and compliance.\nWork closely with design, hardware and software teams to integrate control systems.\nQualifications and Skills\nTechnical knowledge: electronics engineering and control systems; BSEE or equivalent degree.\n5+ years of hardware design experience.\nStrong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.\nStrong knowledge of analog and digital precision measurement.\nProgramming skills: experience in C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink or VHDL.\nCompetence in dynamic systems analysis and control theory (modeling and simulation).\nAbility to perform simulations.\nAbility to create and test electronic prototypes.\nAbility to diagnose and solve complex problems.\nAbility to work effectively in a multi-geographical team environment and to communicate technical information clearly.\nKnowledge of SiC/GaN device properties.\nExperience with Cadence EDA tools.\nExperience with PSpice and LTspice simulation tools\nFluent in English and German.
