This role supports key customers, partners, and system integrators throughout the entire automation journey - from opportunity identification and proof-of-concept to deployment, scale-up, and optimization.\nThe successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with customer-facing consulting skills and will become the technical champion for Mobile Robotics solutions in Taiwan.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nTechnical Sales & Solution Consulting\nSupport the sales team during customer engagements and technical discussions.\nConduct factory line walks, station assessments, workflow analysis, and automation application identification.\nDefine solution architecture for collaborative robot applications (UR), autonomous mobile robot applications (MiR), and mobile cobot solutions (UR + MiR).\nDevelop customer ROI and technical feasibility assessments.\nSupport proposal development and technical presentations.\nApplication Development & Validation\nDesign and validate robotic applications including machine tending, assembly, material handling, packaging, palletizing, mobile manipulation, intralogistics automation, and end-of-line automation.\nConfigure cobot programs, workflows, safety concepts, and peripheral integrations.\nCreate demonstration applications and proof-of-concepts projects\nDevelop repeatable solution packages for strategic vertical markets in Taiwan.\nDeployment & Project Execution\nSupport deployment and commissioning of customer projects.\nPerform system troubleshooting, tuning, and optimization.\nAssist partners during pilot, commissioning, and production scale-up phases.\nEnsure successful customer adoption and project handover.\nMobile Cobot & Advanced Robotics Development\nServe as Taiwan technical lead for mobile cobot solutions combining UR and MiR.\nSupport fleet deployments, vision-guided robotics, AI-driven robotic applications, and industrial software integration.\nTranslate field requirements into scalable use cases and practical application packages.\nPartner Enablement\nTrain system integrators, OEMs, and distributors.\nConduct technical workshops and application training.\nSupport partner certification and capability development.\nWork closely with the APAC Application Engineering organization.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequired\nBachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical discipline.\n3-5 years of experience in collaborative robotics, AMR/AGV, industrial automation, or robotics system integration.\nStrong understanding of industrial automation architecture, PLC integration, industrial networking, robot safety, I/O, and sensor integration.\nHands-on mindset and willingness to work directly on production floors.\nPreferred\nExperience with Universal Robots, MiR, Omron AMR, Geek+, ForwardX, AutoStore, Siemens Automation, Fanuc, ABB, or similar platforms.\nMobile cobot deployment experience.\nSemiconductor, AI server, electronics manufacturing, or intralogistics project experience.\nKnowledge of vision integration, MES/ERP/WMS integration, REST API, or programming/scripting.\nTRAVEL REQUIREMENT\nDomestic travel within Taiwan: up to 40%.\nRegional & Internation travel up to 10%.\nCANDIDATE TARGET PROFILE\nThis role is designed to attract hands-on solution engineers or application engineers from robotics, AMR, automation, and system integration companies.
