In this role, you will apply reliability engineering methods throughout product development and production ramp-up. The position focuses on robotics and automation systems, with particular emphasis on performing life testing for durability, repeatability, and identifying design changes that improve service life of electromechanical mechanisms exposed to repetitive motion and other operating stresses. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design automation solutions that improve system availability and product reliability. An advanced degree in reliability engineering, mechatronics, mechanical, or industrial engineering is preferred. If this describes you, review the skills for the position:\nDevelop and execute accelerated life-test plans for robotics and automation systems.\nAnalyze test and field data to identify reliability risks and failure mechanisms.\nHighly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT)\nLead or contribute to DFMEA and Design for Reliability activities.\nBuild reliability models and make recommendations that improve product life and system availability.\nPartner with mechanical, electrical, systems, quality, and manufacturing engineering teams\nProficiency with statistical and reliability software tools (e.g., Weibull++, BlockSim, Alta preferred, Ansys Sherlock).\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nHigh energy with strong presentation and training skills\nAbility to travel approximately 10%\nTeradyne is a major supplier of automation equipment for test and industrial applications. Teradyne Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) is used to test semiconductors, wireless products, data storage and complex electronic systems, which serve consumer, communications, industrial and government customers. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set.
