We believe that our differences enable us to be a better team - one that makes better decisions, drives innovation and delivers better business results.\nOpportunity Overview\nDesign and extend software for a large test system that incorporates many levels of software.\nDesign operating software for capital equipment, factory information systems and application software.\nCollaborate with engineers from other disciplines in diagnosing and solving complex system problems.\nCollaborate with a larger design team around the world.\nThis position is based in North Reading, MA and candidate will need to mostly work on-site.\nModerate travel is required, both within the US and to southeast Asia.\nAll About You\nMinimum 6 years of software development experience programming in C# .NET on Windows using Visual Studio.\nSolid experience developing distributed and multi-threaded applications.\nSolid understanding of object-oriented design.\nBackground in semiconductors and/or test equipment industry is a plus.\nExperience in any of the following is a plus: Machine vision, WPF, capital equipment, factory integration, TCP/IP, database programming,\nAbility to work effectively on multiple tasks with multiple deadlines.\nAbility to solve problems through creative and analytical thinking.\nAbility to work with the local team and a design team overseas.\nAbility to grasp new technologies and react to changes in a fast-paced environment.\nCompensation:\nThe base salary range for this role is $132,900 - $212,600. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set.
