Our global R&D organization of 200+ engineers builds the software and systems behind every cobot we ship.\nOpportunity Overview\nYou will join a team of talented and passionate engineers developing, testing, and optimizing the software and systems that let us simulate our robot platforms and the environments they work in.\nAs a Full Stack Engineer on the Simulation team, you will build the web applications and services that make simulation usable for engineers, application teams, and customers. From configuring scenarios and importing customer environments, to launching and monitoring simulation runs, to exploring datasets and results, you will create the experiences that turn powerful simulation of UR cobots and MiR mobile robots into practical everyday tools.\nThis is a hands-on engineering role across frontend, backend, and visualisation. You will work with modern web frameworks, APIs, and browser-based 3D, and collaborate closely with simulation engineers, dataset engineers, designers, and the wider R&D organization in Denmark and Bangalore.\nYour responsibilities and tasks include:\nDesign and develop web applications for configuring, launching, monitoring, and analysing simulation runs.\nBuild interfaces for importing customer models and environments and for creating custom scenarios and workflows.\nDevelop scalable backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs that integrate with simulation, rendering, and compute infrastructure.\nBuild browser-based 3D and data visualisations, including scene previews, robot trajectories, sensor output, annotations, and performance metrics.\nDevelop dataset and asset library browsers that let users search, filter, and inspect large collections.\nDesign data models and work with relational and NoSQL databases.\nImplement authentication, authorisation, and secure access to services and data.\nWrite clean, well-tested, and documented code, and participate actively in code reviews to uphold engineering standards across the team.\nContribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling for web applications and services.\nPartner with users, designers, and product teams to translate workflows into intuitive, reliable product experiences.\nAll About You\nWe seek individuals who share our passion and determination. We expect you to bring a number of qualifications to be considered for this role.\nMandatory Qualifications:\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.\n3+ years of professional full stack development experience.\nStrong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and a modern frontend framework, preferably React.\nBackend development experience with Python (FastAPI or Django) and/or Node.js.\nExperience designing REST or GraphQL APIs and working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL.\nExperience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD workflows.\nSolid understanding of web performance, security, and testing practices.\nComfortable working in a Linux environment with modern development workflows.\nProficiency required in at least four of the following qualifications:\nBrowser-based 3D with Three.js, WebGL, or WebGPU.\nData visualisation libraries such as D3, Plotly, or ECharts.\nReal-time communication using WebSockets or streaming APIs.\nKubernetes and cloud services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nMessage queues and job systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Celery.\nBuilding tools for ML, data, or engineering workflows.\nRobotics concepts or ROS2 integration from web applications.\nDesign systems and strong UI/UX sensibility.\nNoSQL databases and search engines such as MongoDB or Elasticsearch.\nOpenUSD or other 3D scene formats.\nPersonal Attributes\nCandidates should demonstrate ambition, organizational skills, and adaptability.
