Acting as the primary liaison between IT, HR, Finance, Payroll, and other business stakeholders, this role will manage the enhancement roadmap, coordinate releases, and support the successful delivery of Workday-related projects.\nThe role is focused on stakeholder collaboration, release management, project coordination, and team support rather than day-to-day system configuration.\nReason for Vacancy - Replacement\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nRoadmap Planning & Stakeholder Collaboration\nPartner with HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to understand priorities and future requirements.\n\nMaintain the Workday enhancement roadmap and Jira backlog, facilitating regular planning and prioritization sessions.\n\nAssess new Workday capabilities and coordinate recommendations for adoption and process improvement.\n\nProvide stakeholders with clear updates on priorities, schedules, risks, and delivery status.\n\nEvaluate emerging Workday capabilities, including Workday AI, Workday Agents, and other intelligent automation features, to identify and drive opportunities that deliver business value.\n\nCollaborate with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and drive AI-enabled use cases across employee and business processes.\n\nSupport the development of business cases and roadmap recommendations for AI, automation, and digital employee experience initiatives.\n\nChampion and lead new Workday integrations with 3rd party applications to drive efficiencies and automation\n\nRelease Management & Governance\nLead the Workday semi-annual release process and coordinate internal enhancement release schedules.\n\nCoordinate impact assessments, testing timelines, production deployment, validation, and stakeholder communications.\n\nFacilitate Workday Release Planning meetings and ensure changes follow established governance and change management practices.\n\nMaintain an integrated release calendar and manage dependencies across business and technical teams.\n\nProject & Team Support\nSupport Workday projects and module implementations by coordinating plans, resources, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items.\n\nCoordinate initiatives involving Workday and complementary enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and DocuSign where business value can be achieved through AI, automation, or improved process integration.\n\nManage service availability & incident reporting in case of outage or service degradation\n\nWork with Workday technical analysts, business partners, vendors, and technical teams to keep initiatives on schedule.\n\nHelp prioritize the team’s workload and provide guidance on delivery approach and sequencing.\n\nAct as an escalation point for delivery, scheduling, and cross-functional issues.\n\nAbout You\n5+ years of Workday experience in a lead analyst, release lead, project lead, or platform support role.\n\nExperience supporting Workday module implementations or major enhancement programs.\n\nCoordinating Workday releases, enhancements, or implementation projects.\n\nWorking knowledge of Workday HCM, Payroll, Financials, and Adaptive Planning modules.\n\nExperience working with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize technology-driven process improvements.\n\nStrong knowledge of Workday security, reporting, and integrations.\n\nExperience managing delivery roadmaps, priorities, schedules, risks, and dependencies.\n\nExperience with Jira, Agile delivery practices, and enterprise change-management processes.\n\nFamiliarity with APIs, integrations, and third-party AI agent frameworks that interact with enterprise SaaS applications.\n\nStrong understanding of how enterprise SaaS platforms can be leveraged to improve business processes through automation and AI.\n\nFamiliarity with other Enterprise applications including: ServiceNow, Okta IAM, DocuSign E-signature\n\nExperience with Workday AI capabilities, Workday Agents, or intelligent automation features.\n\nAgile project-management certification is preferred.\n\nLet’s Talk Pay\nWe believe in being upfront about pay and helping you make informed decisions about your career. The annual pay range for this role is $126,500 - $148,500 CAD, inclusive of base salary and target incentive pay.
