Reporting to the Site Controller, this role supports day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and on-site financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of general ledger processes, maintains accurate financial records, and promotes compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.\nKey Responsibilities:\n· Support the Site Controller with daily accounting operations, month-end close activities, and timely financial reporting.\n· Prepare, review, and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, reclassifications, and other recurring or adjusting entries.\n· Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations; investigate and resolve reconciling items on a timely basis.\n· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather supporting data, analyze account activity, and resolve accounting issues.\n· Support the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and budget-to-actual variances.\n· Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.\n· Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.\n· Identify and implement process and control improvements that enhance the efficiency, consistency, and accuracy of accounting operations.\n· Respond to financial information requests from internal stakeholders, external auditors, and other authorized parties.\n· Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.\n· Assist with fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.\n· Perform bank, cash, and other assigned account reconciliations.\n· Maintain organized accounting documentation in accordance with record-retention requirements.\nQualifications:\n· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n· Two or more years of general ledger, corporate, or site accounting experience.\n· Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.\n· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software;
