Your expertise is backed by a robust benefits portfolio:\nCompetitive Pay: $33.00/hr. to $57.00/hr., based on experience, certifications, and technical expertise.\nGrowth & Opportunity: Work on one of the largest AI and high-performance computing campuses in North America as our electrical infrastructure continues to expand.\nPerformance Incentives: Eligibility for potential yearly bonuses tied directly to company performance achievements.\nExceptional Health Coverage: 80% employer-paid healthcare premium options.\n Retirement Planning: Full 401(k) and Roth retirement savings choices.\nGenerous Paid Time Off: 120 hours of accrued PTO plus 11 paid company holidays.\n Work-Life Support: Employee Assistance Program (EAP) available from day one.\nMission-Critical Environment: Support advanced substation infrastructure, high-voltage electrical systems, and cutting-edge AI computing operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nAs a Relay Technician, you are a critical line of defense for our mission-critical electrical infrastructure:\nProtection System Testing & Maintenance: Perform testing, calibration, commissioning, and maintenance of protective relays, control circuits, and associated substation equipment.\nAdvanced Electrical Troubleshooting: Analyze relay events, oscillography records, alarms, and fault data to rapidly identify root causes and restore system reliability.\nSubstation Operations Support: Assist with maintenance, outage coordination, switching activities, and commissioning efforts associated with two on-site substations and campus electrical distribution systems.\nProtection & Control Verification: Conduct end-to-end testing of protection schemes, CTs, PTs, and control wiring to ensure proper system performance and coordination.\nIncident Response & Ownership: Respond to electrical system abnormalities, support emergency restoration efforts, and work closely with Operations and Engineering teams to implement corrective actions.\nDocumentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed test reports, maintenance records, relay settings documentation, and compliance records to support safe and reliable operations.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nCore Requirements:\nExperience: 3-7 years of experience as a Relay Technician, Protection & Control Technician, Substation Technician, or similar electrical protection role.\nElectrical Protection Knowledge: Working knowledge of protective relay systems, substation protection schemes, and electrical power system fundamentals.\nTechnical Aptitude: Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams, protection schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical construction drawings.\nTroubleshooting Mentality: Proven ability to diagnose complex electrical issues, analyze protection events, and implement effective corrective solutions.\nCommunication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create accurate technical reports and maintenance documentation.\nSafety Focus: Strong commitment to electrical safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and industry best practices.\nPhysical Capability: Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, climb stairs and ladders, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.\nPreferred (Plus, but not Required):\nExperience with SEL, GE Multilin, ABB, Siemens, or similar protective relay platforms.\nExperience supporting substations operating at medium- and high-voltage levels (34.5kV to 115kV+).\nFamiliarity with SCADA systems, RTUs, metering equipment, and communications networks.\nNETA Certification, Electrical Journeyman status, Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology, or related technical certifications.\nExperience supporting utility, power generation, renewable energy, industrial manufacturing, or mission-critical data center facilities.\nReady to Apply?\nJoin a team where your technical expertise directly supports one of the most advanced AI computing campuses in the country.
