Candidate will need to be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the manufacturing procurement field. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals to perform a variety of tasks.\nResponsibilities:\nProcesses requisitions in a timely manner ensuring best quality, service, delivery and cost in accordance with organizational objectives and sourcing strategies\n\nMaintain supplier relationships, work to improve lead time, cost, and quality.\n\nCompiles, records and tracks vendor information, supplier performance metrics, purchasing activities and pricing data\n\nCreate Purchase Orders; maintain accurate open PO lines to define inbound quantities and due dates from suppliers.\n\nMaintain ongoing knowledge of current market conditions and their potential impact on cost, lead time and availability of supply\n\nMaintain pertinent item and supplier information in system.\n\nProcess RFQ’s\n\nExpedite parts as required and provide updates on backorders\n\nWork with Accounts Payable and vendors to minimize and clear up invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.\n\nEnsures all activities performed are done so in compliance with corporate and department policies\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience in a purchasing, buyer or material planner role\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProven success in managing multiple suppliers to deliver on time with a focus on quality and cost adherence.\n\nProblem-solving skills to troubleshoot situations such as material shortages, quality, and delivery problems.\n\nProficiency within Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\n\nOracle or similar ERP system knowledge\n\nExperience with long lead items\n\nAbility to read drawings\n\nExperience with aftermarket business preferred\n\nHas a strong attention to detail and can work in a fast-paced, high-transactional volume environment\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a diverse team.\n\nExcellent communication skills (verbal and written) to negotiate and influence internal and external stakeholders\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nAbility to work under pressure and manage tight timelines\n\nIf you are interested in an open position but feel you may not meet all the listed qualifications, we still encourage you to apply.\nAbout Terex:\nTerex Corporation is a global leader in specialized equipment solutions, serving essential sectors such as emergency services, waste and recycling, utilities, and construction.
