This position works with limited supervision to operate a variety of manufacturing equipment, interpret technical drawings and work instructions, monitor product quality, and support efficient production processes. The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nSet up and operate CNC equipment, including machining centers, milling machines, robotic systems, laser equipment, plasma tables, brakes, and shears\nRead and interpret blueprints, part drawings, work instructions, diagrams, work orders, and reports to ensure accurate production.\nUtilize measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, squares, and protractors to verify product specifications.\nPerform quality inspections to ensure products meet established standards.\nOperate material handling equipment and manufacturing tools safely and efficiently, including cranes, jib booms, forklifts, hydraulic devices, and hand tools.\nTroubleshoot equipment and production issues and escalate complex concerns as needed.\nPerform routine maintenance and daily preventive maintenance tasks on equipment\nTest, repair, or replace hydraulic and mechanical components when required\nMaintain clean, organized work areas and support 5S and housekeeping initiatives\nUtilize computer systems, CNC controllers, and production software to complete work orders and production documentation.\nParticipate in team-based problem-solving activities and continuous improvement efforts\nAssist in other departments and perform additional duties as assigned to support production goals.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nMinimum of 2 years of manufacturing, machining, mechanical, or related production experience\nWorking knowledge of measuring devices and production equipment.\nBasic computer proficiency, including CNC control systems and Microsoft Office applications,\nAbility to understand and follow verbal and written instructions\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience operating CNC machining and fabrication equipment.\nFiberglass manufacturing experience.\nBasic understanding of G&M code programming, Cartesian coordinate systems, and work offsets\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.\nAbility to lift, move, and carry materials weighing up to 40 pounds frequently and heavier loads with appropriate assistance.\nAbility to perform repetitive bending, stooping, reaching, and overhead work.\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures.\nKey Competencies\nMechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills.\nStrong attention to detail and quality workmanship.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.\nCommitment to safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement.\nStrong communication and organizational skills.\nFlexibility to learn new skills and support multiple production areas as business needs require\nWhy Join Us\n· We are a global company, and our culture is defined by our Values - Integrity, Respect, Improvement, Servant Leadership, Courage, and Citizenship.
