Our innovative designs and reliable products have made Genie a world leader in the production of material lifts, portable aerial work platforms, scissor lifts, and self-propelled telescopic and articulated booms.\nDaily Expectations: \nReceive, prioritize, and complete repair and installation work orders on time.\nDiagnose issues with equipment, machinery, and facility systems. You may become the “primary” contact for specialized equipment like robotics, hydraulics, or pneumatics.\nDisassemble, adjust, repair, reassemble, and retest components such as valves, pumps, motors, and tools.\nSchedules, coordinates, and performs regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery, processing equipment and facilities systems. May orient other Maintenance Technicians on TPM methods.\nPerform scheduled preventive maintenance and work with a team to ensure best practices.\nRegularly conduct inspections of equipment for efficiency, potential issues, and keep accurate records/documentation.\nWork in compliance with manuals, diagrams, codes, and safety regulations.\nSupport with weather-related safety measures and associated preventive measures.\nMaintain an organized workspace and ensure tools are in top condition.\nActively participate in onsite safety programs.\nRegularly communicate problems and improvement opportunities to supervisor.\nAble to work overtime as required.\nContribute wherever you can to help the team succeed.\nRequired Qualifications:\n2+ years in an industrial setting or an associate degree in automotive, industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field.\nComfortable using a multimeter to diagnose 24V electrical controls.\nAbility to disassemble and replace bearings and motors.\nSelf-motivated with confidence to work on your own.\nFamiliar with common business software and maintenance program tools.\nAbility to diagnose issues and determine the best corrective actions.\nAbility to read and interpret plans, diagrams, manuals, and specifications accurately.\nAbility to read precision instruments and perform basic mathematical calculations.\nCommitment to observe and follow all safety rules and regulations.\nPass an electrical assessment during the interview process.\nAbove and Beyond Qualifications:\nA degree in Industrial Technology or Maintenance or 5+ years of hands-on experience in an industrial environment.\nConfident in diagnosing and fixing equipment issues.\nAbility to identify and order correct parts.\nComfortable reading electrical drawings, symbols, and manuals.\nInterested in growing into a leadership role.\nExperience with PLCs and ladder logic.\nSkilled at troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including components at 120V, 277V, and 480V.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.\nWorking Conditions:\nTypically works in a manufacturing environment, standing for long periods of time, and requires the ability to move materials weighing up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.\nAbility to operate small hand tools as well as common shop floor equipment\nPay:\nThe pay range for this position is$28 - $39 USD hourly.
