The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, testing, and implementation of hydraulic systems and components used in industry/application, e.g., heavy machinery, & automotive. This role requires a strong understanding of fluid dynamics, system integration, and mechanical design principles.\nWhat you'll do\nDesign and develop hydraulic systems and components for new and existing products.\nPerform simulations and calculations to ensure system performance and reliability.\nCreate detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers.\nConduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for hydraulic issues.\nSupport prototype development, testing, and validation of hydraulic systems.\nEnsure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.\nProvide technical support during installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases.\n What you'll bring\nBachelor’s or Master’sdegree in mechanical engineering, Fluid Power Engineering, ora relatedfield.\n5+ years of experience in hydraulic system design and analysis.\nProficiencyin CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD,Onshape) and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, ANSYS).\nStrong knowledge of fluid mechanics, control valves, pumps, actuators, and filtration systems.\nFamiliarity with ANSI Standards, ISO, SAE, and other relevant hydraulic standards.\nGood 3D modeling ability for piping and hose routings in 3D CAD software.\nGood knowledge about JIC and SAE fittings for hydraulic pipes and hoses and sizing of hydraulic lines.\nExperienced inselectionof hydraulic components such as cylinders, motors,pumpsetc. \nExcellent problem-solving and communication skills.\nExperienced withSolidWorkspreferred\nSalary: The compensation range for this position is $80k - $95k annually.
