We're committed to excellence in everything we do, and we're seeking talented individuals who share our passion and values to join our team.\nResponsibilities:\nParticipates in the installation and sequencing of machines, work stations, tools, parts and supplies to optimize the efficiency of the production process.\nAssists Engineers in preparing engineering process documentation.\n\nStudies manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, assembly processes, and industrial engineering. Studies utilization of facilities, equipment, materials, and team members to suggest layouts that enhance productivity.\n\nGathers and analyzes process information including cycle times, measurements, test results, trends, etc., used for statistical process control, cost analysis, and planning.\n\nResearches and analyzes design proposals for ability to manufacture on a basis that minimizes waste and cost. Suggests design modifications to facilitate production.\n\nApplies statistical measures to estimate future manufacturing requirements.\n\nResearches and recommends parts, supply, and maintenance tasks, safety procedures, and servicing schedules that conform to production needs.\n\nAssists Design and Project Engineers, customers, and manufacturing team members to resolve engineering-related production problems.\n\nParticipates in cross-functional meetings to evaluate staffing mix and levels necessary for safe and efficient manufacturing.\n\nParticipates with Design Engineers to discuss and evaluate new product design or re-design and manufacture.\n\nConducts periodic inspections of various aspects of the manufacturing process such as, but not limited to assembly, welding, and machine operations.\n\nPerforms other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.\n\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering ( BS in Mechanical, Engineering Technology, Electrical, Industrial, Civil or Aeronautical) that is ABET accredited.\n\n2+ years of experience in industrial environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nSpecialized professional knowledge of the theory, principles, and practices of mechanical or industrial engineering.\n\nWorking knowledge of Solidworks or equivalent programs.\n\nSufficient human relations skill to convey technical engineering concepts to others; and technical employees; and to work cooperatively with internal and external customers.\n\nTechnical writing skills sufficient to prepare product specifications, test, and process documentation.\n\nAdvanced mathematics skills.\n\nHands on experience CNC equipment such as Lathes and Mills preferred (Programming, Optimizing, troubleshooting, etc.)\n\nAbility to perform all the responsibilities of the position.\n\nAbility to read mechanical and electrical schematics, blueprints. Ability to use AutoCAD or equivalent engineering software.\n\nRequires the ability to conduct mathematical exercises using physics, algebra, analytic geometry, and statistical analysis. Requires the ability to convert designs into production action plans.\n\nAbility to learn and perform within the principles of Lean Manufacturing, Just-in-Time, and Total Quality Management.\n\nAmbulatory ability to walk and stand on a continuous basis; to bend, stoop, and kneel on an intermittent basis; to lift medium weight objects up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.\n\nSufficient hand-arm-eye coordination to operate a computer keyboard and pointing device.\n\nVisual acuity to see moving objects, read words, letters and drawings.\n\nSufficient auditory ability to carry on conversations over the phone and in person, and project voice in a noisy\n\nThe pay for this position IS $30-$50/hour DOE.\nWorking Conditions:\nTypically works in a manufacturing environment, standing for long periods of time, and requires the ability to move materials weighing up to 40 pounds on a regular basis\n\nAbility to operate small hand tools as well as common shop floor equipment\n\nBenefits, Health & Wellness\nTerex/Genie offers health and wellness programs for team members and their families - including a global Employee Assistance Program.
