You will work as part a team to coordinate materials in a safe and efficient manner ensuring flow to production.\nThe role:\nCo-developing a strategic layout for parts storage, ensuring safe and accessible storage of all materials for machine build\nCo-ordinating on time delivery of parts to all footprints to ensure builds progress as planned\nMaintaining and updating detailed records for estimated time of arrival for all parts through liaising with both internal and external suppliers\nOrdering missing or damaged parts\nCommunicating to the Machine Build Supervisor about parts availability, timeframes on delivery of parts and any shortages already identified\nEscalation of key issues/ delays to Supervisor or Managers as required\nCommunicating and coordinating parts movement with the Forklift Driver\nManaging and coordinating the Return to Stores (RTS) and Reject processes\nEnsuring compliance with inventory control measures i.e. Receipting of goods inwards on relevant systems\nChecking goods inwards to ensure all required parts for build kits are present and coordinating with the quality team to ensure they are meeting specifications required\nCompliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures\nFollowing Standard Work procedures\nGeneral Housekeeping Duties ensuring yard and work areas are kept to 5S standard\nUse of FLT and PIT where required\nThe person:\nExcellent planning and organizational skills\nExperience in similar role or with material movement\nExcellent communication skills\nIT literacy and experience of MRP style system\nAbility to work on your own initiative with little supervision\nAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines.\nKnowledge of inventory control would be advantageous.\nA logical and methodical approach to problem solving along with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner to meet targets.\nCurrent fork-lift/combi-lift license desirable but not essential\nThis above description is non-exhaustive and there may be additional duties in accordance with the role.\nIf you are interested in an open position but feel you may not meet all the listed qualifications, we still encourage you to apply.\nTerex Overview:\nTerex Corporation is a global leader in specialized equipment solutions, serving essential sectors such as emergency services, waste and recycling, utilities, and construction.
