Your key responsibilities include:\nDesign, build and maintain web applications that present AI model results to end users\nBuild intuitive interfaces and visualizations that remain fast and easy to use, even when handling large volumes of data and frequent updates\nDevelop and maintain backend services in Java and Python\nCollaborate with data scientists to integrate model outputs into software applications\nWork closely with end users to understand operational needs and translate them into effective software solutions\nWrite tested, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews and software quality\nDeploy, operate and maintain applications in a containerised environment\n\nBring your expertise into play\nTo thrive in this role, we imagine that you bring some of the following qualifications:\nA relevant bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a similar field\nSolid experience with React, TypeScript, or a similar modern frontend stack\nExperience building data-heavy or real-time web applications, with a good understanding of rendering performance\nExperience developing backend services in Java and/or Python\nExperience working with containerised applications using Docker\nA structured approach to software development and a focus on writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code \nExperience with technologies such as MapLibre, Mapbox, Kafka, Kubernetes, or machine learning applications is an advantage, but not a requirement.\n\nMost importantly, we believe diverse experiences add value to our team and organization.
