You will thrive at TerraClear with a positive attitude, a collaborative mindset, a healthy dose of grit and a passion for solving real-world problems.\nJr Software Development / Tech Support Engineer - Hybrid role based out of our Issaquah, WA headquarters\nWe are looking for a result-driven full-stack Software Development / Technical Support Engineer to participate in the development of TerraClear applications which span a range of target platforms (Web, iOS, Android, Linux). Your success will allow the company to enhance the customer experience, expedite availability of rock maps and scale our commercial rock mapping services.\nIn this role, you will:\nBuild, debug and support real-time actionable mapping solutions that are highly reliable, innovative and high performance\nSupport real-time in-field image edge processing\nDesign, implement and deploy front-end elements, REST-based back-end services and database design schemas across TerraClear’s application stack\nPartner with Product Management and Software Engineering team members to review application functionality requirements and interface design\nEnsure our suite of applications remain current with major 3rd party dependency releases and current design / implementation practices\nWork in Agile environment to prioritize tasks and deliver technical milestones on schedule\nExperience - Required: \n1+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in commercial product environment\nBS or MS in Software Engineering, CS (or related field) or commensurate work experience\nKnowledge of computer science fundamentals\nKnowledge of how to leverage GenAI tools to expedite the design, development and debugging of commercial quality software applications\nKnowledge of REST-based backend services\nKnowledge of Node JS, Angular/React JS/TypeScript\nKnowledge of MVC architecture\nStrong communication, positive attitude and excellent team player\nWillingness to travel to our field offices and testing areas\nExperience - Nice to have:\nKnowledge of Linux operating system\nWork experience with a relational database, preferably PostgreSQL \nExposure to AWS services such as Lambda/API Gateway/SQS\nProficiency in commercial SDLC processes, including source code management tools (GitHub)\nCompensation Range = $80-125k\nTerraClear does not provide employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
