Today, TerraCycle operates across 18 countries, working with leading brands, retailers, businesses, and other stakeholders to deliver practical solutions to eliminate waste.\n Job Overview\nThe Creative Manager is a cross-functional leadership role within the global Creative department at TerraCycle, responsible for executing the creative vision and strategy for TerraCycle, and leading the NA creative team. The Creative Manager will inspire and elevate the quality of creative work across all mediums (graphics, print, motion, UI) and develop brand standards for consumer and commercial brands globally. This hands-on role will suit someone wanting to do it all, but knows when they’re required to execute or inspire/lead.\n Primary Responsibilities\nAlongside the Creative Director, own top-tier strategic/executive and high external visibility projects - confidently pitching concepts to colleagues and managers\nManage and inspire an in-house creative team and freelance creative, critiquing ideas with the big picture and business objectives in mind\nBe a time management pro, juggling concurrent projects, liaising with multiple internal/marketing stakeholders as well as other department heads to ensure deadlines are met, and signing off before work is presented\nBe a guarantor for the creative process, developing ideas for key moment campaigns across all of TerraCycle’s products and services\nRigourously evaluate design briefs, always asking what’s the job to be done? - holding both stakeholder and creative accountable for project’s success\nContinuously develop visual guidelines and ensuring creative across the company follow them\nDesign graphic content for print and digital (web, social) using your strong knowledge of industry best practices\nCreate UI wireframes and designs for priority projects before being developed by product/IT teams, getting the best out of digital capabilities\nBring your creative vision to life using new tools, using AI to elevate the execution of creative \nKeep up to date with creative industry innovations to help inspire a team of creative professionals, helping them achieve their potential in an ever changing industry\nUnderstand the commercial aspects of the business to make informed creative decisions and manage time effectively - bringing key stakeholders along for the ride\nBuild strong relationships between other markets (EU and APAC) to elevate standards and maintain consistency across markets\nRequirements\n Desired Qualifications\nExpert Adobe/graphic design skills in digital with knowledge of UI design tools i.e. Figma\nMinimum 5-years’ experience working in a design agency or in-house\nGood knowledge of the print process\nExperience in motion design and After Effects\nKnowledge in video & photography production (desirable)\nExcellent leadership and interpersonal skills\nGreat project management skills with high ability to multitask and prioritize tasks\nOrganized with an excellent level of attention to details\n Compensation\nMedical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D insurance available after 30 days\n401(k) plan with company match available after 30 days\n22 PTO + 2 VTO + 9 paid holidays per year\nHybrid work schedule\nYear-round Flex Fridays\nCatered vegetarian lunch available in the office M-F\nCasual office environment\nApplicants should upload their portfolio when applying.\nTerraCycle is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to Diversity, Equality and Inclusion.\nNote: International candidates must be eligible to work in their country of employment.
