The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Python scripting, test automation, Linux troubleshooting, and a basic understanding of virtualisation and container technologies.\n\nJob Location: Bangalore\n\nWork mode: Work from the office (WFO)\n\nNotice period: Immediate to 15 days\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Develop Python automation scripts and test frameworks from scratch.\n\n- Design, develop, execute, and maintain end-to-end automated test cases.\n\n- Perform functional, system, regression, and API testing.\n\n- Troubleshoot issues in Linux environments using system commands, logs, and debugging techniques.\n\n- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, virtual machines, and virtualization technologies.\n\n- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.\n\n- Participate in defect triaging, root cause analysis, and regression testing.\n\nMandatory Technical Skills:\n\n- Python Programming: Strong Python coding skills; independently developing automation scripts and frameworks from scratch.\n\n- Linux Operating System: Hands-on experience with Linux administration, system debugging, troubleshooting, and log analysis.\n\n- Virtualisation & Hypervisors: Basic understanding of virtualisation concepts, virtual machines, VMware ESXi, and vCenter.\n\n- Kubernetes & Containers: Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and containerised applications.\n\n- Test Automation: End-to-end test case development, automation framework development, execution, and maintenance.\n\n- API Automation: Working knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or equivalent automation tools.\n\n- Networking Fundamentals: Understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.\n\n- QA Fundamentals: Software testing lifecycle, bug lifecycle, functional testing, system testing, regression testing, and defect triaging.\n\n- Distributed Systems: Basic understanding of compute, storage, networking, virtualisation, and distributed storage.\n\nGood-to-Have Skills:\n\n- Cloud exposure: AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\n\n- AI-based development and automation tools, such as Cursor or similar tools.\n\n-
