Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Inventory Control Supervisor will manage all product-related inventory for the site. This individual will ensure an adequate inventory of material and components to support hardware production kitting and provide oversight of kitting support personnel and material handlers. The Inventory Control Supervisor is also responsible for providing accounting with accurate inventory quantities, and values reporting in support of external audits and maintaining proper controls of Customer Furnished Materials/Property.\nKey Duties and Responsibilities\nOversee the execution of material kitting for vertically integrated manufacturing\nSchedule team and individual workflows for inventory control and material handling\nMaintain accurate stock of inventory and conduct root cause corrective actions as required\nConduct and manage a continuous cycle counting program\nMaintain proper inventory and safeguarding of customer-furnished equipment/property\nCreate and maintain inventory control KPIs and metrics\nParticipate in company internal audits and support customer audits as required\nIdentify and implement continuous improvement within department functions/areas\nTake all necessary training to maintain and build on current skills and knowledge of position\nAssist in project management in alignment with company growth initiatives\nComply with all facility and operational safety and housekeeping regulations\nPerform other duties as assigned\nRequired Qualifications and Skills\nAssociates degree\n7+ years of experience in inventory and/or warehouse management\n5+ years of experience in a leadership position\nExperience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics D365 a plus)\nExperience with warehouse management systems (WMS)\nAbility to read/understand bills of material and engineering drawings\nSelf-motivated with a track record of quality and continuous improvement\nAbility to support multiple tasks/objectives and balance priorities\nAbility to communicate across disciplines\nU.S. Person or lawful permanent resident to comply with U.S. government space technology export regulations.\nPreferred Qualifications and Skills\nBachelor’s degree, Supply Chain Management preferred\nAPICS CPIM certification\nPrior experience in the aerospace industry\nPrior experience with hazardous goods handling\nExperience with ESD handling procedures\nYour actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
