This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced environmental consultant looking to take the next step in their career by gaining additional project management responsibilities while continuing to develop their technical expertise.\nThe successful candidate will support a variety of environmental investigation and remediation projects, coordinate field activities, contribute to technical deliverables, and work closely with senior project managers and technical experts to address complex environmental challenges.\nThe Role\nSupport the planning and execution of environmental site investigations, site characterization, and remediation projects involving soil, groundwater, and soil vapor.\n\nCoordinate and oversee field activities, including soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring well installation, and remediation system operation and maintenance.\n\nAssist with project management responsibilities, including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and tracking project deliverables.\n\nPrepare and review technical reports, work plans, proposals, and regulatory documentation.\n\nCoordinate with subcontractors, laboratories, and internal technical teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.\n\nSupport the evaluation and implementation of remedial alternatives, including in situ and ex situ remediation technologies.\n\nCommunicate with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders under the guidance of senior project managers.\n\nAssist with project financial management, including tracking budgets, reviewing invoices, and identifying potential changes in project scope.\n\nProvide technical guidance and oversight to junior staff during field investigations and reporting activities.\n\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality environmental consulting services.\n\nWho You Are\nBachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.\n\n4 to 6 years of experience in environmental consulting, with an emphasis on site investigation, characterization, and remediation.\n\nExperience coordinating environmental field investigations and managing multiple project tasks simultaneously.\n\nStrong understanding of soil, groundwater, and soil vapor investigation methods and environmental remediation practices.\n\nFamiliarity with Oregon environmental regulations and experience working with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) preferred.\n\nOSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification with current refresher training preferred.\n\nExperience preparing technical reports, work plans, and regulatory documentation.\n\nExposure to project management responsibilities, including budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and client communication.\n\nStrong technical writing, organizational, and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with project managers and technical teams.\n\nCompensation for this position is based on years of experience, technical expertise, technical education, and geographic location.\nPay Range\n$80,000—$120,000 USD\nWho We Are\nWe are an environmental consulting company that offers cost-effective solutions to complex environmental and engineering challenges.
