As an Associate to Principal Water Resources Engineer at Terraphase Engineering Inc., you will play a critical role in managing and mentoring staff, developing and implementing water resource projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and addressing complex water-related issues. The successful candidate will have an established client base in their geographic region with a proven track record of leading design teams and providing high quality deliverables. \nResponsibilities: \nLead and manage water resources projects, from planning and design through to construction and completion. \nOversee or conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, analysis, and simulations. \nDevelop and implement sustainable water management solutions. \nProvide technical expertise in stormwater management, flood control, water quality, and watershed management. \nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver innovative solutions across multiple client sectors and regions. \nPrepare technical reports, proposals, and regulatory compliance documents; certify documents as appropriate. \nProvide technical review of peer work-product. \nStay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes. \nQualifications: \nBachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. \nDemonstrated ability to connect with regional clients and with the skills necessary to successfully pursue and win water resource and environmental projects. \nProfessional Engineering (PE) license is required. \nMinimum of 15 years of experience in water resources engineering. \nProficiency in overseeing the use of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software. \nStrong knowledge of local and federal environmental regulations and permitting processes. \nExcellent project and staff management and leadership skills. \nEffective communication and interpersonal abilities. \nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. \nCommitment to safety and environmental stewardship. \nCertified Floodplain Manager certification is desirable. \nCivil Design skills are a plus. \nCompensation for this position is based on years of experience, technical expertise, technical education, and geographic location.\nPay Range\n$135,000—$200,000 USD\nWho We Are\nWe are an environmental consulting company that offers cost-effective solutions to complex environmental and engineering challenges.
