The ideal candidate will be an established seller doer with extensive technical expertise in water rights, groundwater resources, and regulatory permitting, along with strong industry relationships and a demonstrated ability to generate new business.\nThis individual will play a key role in driving business development, expanding client relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and leading complex water rights and hydrogeologic projects. The position offers an opportunity to leverage an established professional network while helping shape the continued growth of Terraphase's Water Resources practice.\nThe Role\nDrive business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and expanding Terraphase's water rights and water resources portfolio.\n\nLeverage an established professional network and existing client relationships to generate new projects and long term business opportunities.\n\nDevelop and execute strategic growth initiatives to expand Terraphase's presence in the water rights and groundwater resources market.\n\nLead client engagement efforts, including business development meetings, presentations, proposal development, and project pursuits.\n\nServe as a trusted advisor to clients on water rights applications, permitting strategies, groundwater availability, and water resource development.\n\nLead and manage complex water rights projects, including applications, transfers, changes, evaluations, and regulatory approvals.\n\nProvide technical leadership on hydrogeologic investigations, groundwater modeling, aquifer testing, and water supply assessments.\n\nCollaborate with Terraphase's Environmental, Geotechnical, and Water Resources teams to identify cross selling opportunities and deliver multidisciplinary solutions.\n\nOversee project performance, budgets, profitability, and client satisfaction while ensuring high quality technical deliverables.\n\nMentor and develop junior staff while supporting the strategic growth and technical capabilities of the Water Resources practice.\n\nWho You Are\nBachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.\n\nLicensed Geologist (LG) or Licensed Hydrogeologist (LHG) in Washington State, with LHG preferred.\n\nMinimum of 15 years of experience in hydrogeology, water rights, or water resources consulting.\n\nProven track record of business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation within the water rights or water resources consulting industry.\n\nEstablished client relationships and a strong professional network with the ability to bring new business opportunities to Terraphase.\n\nDemonstrated success developing proposals, securing contracts, and managing long term client relationships.\n\nExtensive experience preparing and supporting water rights applications, permitting, groundwater resource evaluations, and regula\n\nCompensation for this position is based on years of experience, technical expertise, technical education, and geographic location.\nPay Range\n$145,000—$200,000 USD\nWho We Are\nWe are an environmental consulting company that offers cost-effective solutions to complex environmental and engineering challenges.
