Implementation of sustainable process changes & improvements\nEstablishment of clear ownership, action plans and follow up for AP exceptions\nCross-functional work across finance & business operations functions to resolve complex or recurring AP issues. Translation of finance requirements into guidance for non-finance stakeholders\nEscalate material, time sensitive, or control related issues with clear facts, options and recommended solutions\nDaily accounting activities and period-end close by monitoring & reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries, and providing timely & accurate internal and external reporting\nSupport complex accounting matters & business transactions\nIdentifies & implements automation opportunities and process improvements\nProactively identifies and proposes accounting solutions for new or unusual business transactions and helps to ensure that the day-to-day accounting is consistent with corporate accounting policies and procedures\nSupports ERP system projects, including defining requirements & testing/validating outputs\nAbility to implement policies and procedures to help improve efficiencies\nSupports internal and external audits. Submits initial deliverables & handles follow-up queries\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required\nFive or more years of progressive accounting experience, including significant end-to-end AP or procure-to-pay responsibility.\nDemonstrated experience owning AP operations, resolving complex exceptions, and partnering with non-Finance stakeholders.\nExperience with ERP-based invoice workflows, approval routing, three-way matching, payment processing, and AP reconciliations.\nExperience designing or improving accounting processes and internal controls.\nStrong Excel and data-analysis capabilities.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPublicly traded company experience is preferred\nExperience leading an AP function, team, or major process-improvement initiative.\nExperience in a project-based, engineering, construction, regulated, or rapidly scaling environment.\nOracle Fusion Cloud AP experience.\nExperience developing dashboards or operational performance reporting.\nExperience supporting a publicly traded company or public-company readiness environment.\nExperience with electronic invoicing, workflow automation, supplier portals, or approved AI-enabled finance tools.\nCritical Skills:\nDemonstrated ability to resolve sensitive or high-pressure payment and supplier issues with professionalism and sound judgment.\nSkilled at influencing stakeholders and driving accountability without relying solely on formal authority.\nAble to listen to operational concerns, explain control requirements clearly, and develop solutions that balance risk and business needs.\nSkilled at managing competing priorities and maintaining constructive relationships during disagreements\nDemonstrated discretion when handling confidential vendor, employee, banking, and payment information.\nStrong conflict resolution and negotiation skills, with an ability to de-escalate issues and maintain stakeholder trust.\nJob Functions:\nJob Functions are physical actions and/or working conditions associated with the position.
