This position will be an integral part of the corporate PMO, supporting and improving oversight of multiple advanced nuclear projects, including the Natrium advanced reactor project.\nThe Planning and Controls Manager ensures effective project planning, governance, and performance oversight. This role is key for maintaining control processes, supporting decision-making, and ensuring overall project success.\nResponsibilities:\nOversee the development of integrated project plans and ensure alignment with organizational goals.\nLead change control processes to assess, document, and communicate impacts of change requests.\nDefine and monitor key performance indicators for project success.\nProvide advanced data analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.\nCollaborate with business intelligence analysts to develop visualization tools and dashboards.\nFacilitate integration of project planning, cost, and risk management data into comprehensive controls frameworks.\nProvide mentorship and training to planning and control engineers, and data analysts.\nKey Qualifications and Skills\n10+ years of experience in planning, controls, and data analysis.\nProficiency with tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, JIRA, and PowerBI.\nExperience planning, executing, or control of a first-of-a-kind project exceeding $100M in budget, spanning multiple years, and involving multi-disciplinary teams of 100+.\nExpertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and practices.\n5+ years managing staff in cost management, project controls, or data analysis.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with stakeholders.\nExperience with advanced nuclear projects (preferred).\nThe successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork.\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field from an accredited, four-year university or equivalent experience.\nThis position is subject to qualification requirements in accordance with ANSI/ANS 3.1. Candidates must meet the minimum education and experience criteria applicable to the role, including relevant nuclear industry experience where required.
